In 1989 A-Z Auto Parts, Inc. opened their door for business with a slim, old model inventory--vehicle makes from A-Z. The system used for inventory was the old- fashioned write-it-down on paper method (or rely on memory). Danny West, owner and hard-working President of A-Z Auto Parts, has been in the recycled auto parts business for over 20 years. It didn't take long after he started A-Z, for him to realize computers were essential. Before the end of the first year, he had computerized inventory with up- to-date interchange for most parts.
