The Dharma Center of Oklahoma is a lay Buddhist Organization devoted to taking the practice of Buddhism into our everyday lives.

Non-members are welcome during scheduled classes, meditation, and service on Sunday mornings. There are no enrollment requirements or formal dress code. All content is provided in English. We have a mix of new & experienced lay practitioners (non-monastic) learning together to apply Buddhism to everyday life. You are encouraged to visit us to experience what we do and see if you feel a connection.

Weekly Schedule

Sunday Practice/Dharma Circle

Zoom/In-person Hybrid; Zoom link available upon request via email. Join us at 10am for our Chanting/Meditation service, 11am for Dharma Circle/Dharma Talk. An opportunity to develop a deeper practice and understanding with others.

Monday Night Dharma Circle

Exclusively on Zoom. Monday Night Hoza/Dharma Circle at 7pm is an opportunity to apply Buddhism to your daily encounters with a dedicated practice group. Non-members are welcome in Hoza and all other activities, but we do ask that your webcam be turned on and your video tile include a name to participate in Hoza.

Tuesday Night Book Club

On Zoom at 7pm.

Currently on break. Book Club will resume in the Fall semester (September).

Wednesday Night Basic Buddhism Class

Basic Buddhism Night

Basic Buddhism has concluded for the Spring semester of 2024. We will resume the Basic Buddhism Classes again in September, 2024.

The Basic Buddhism Class will walk you through the study of Buddhist principles as related to practice in everyday life. Enrolment is not required.

Thursday Night Meditation

Hybrid (In-person and Zoom). The building opens at 7:00PM. Join us at 7:30pm to experience the power of chanting, silent and walking meditation with a group of new and experienced practitioners.

Saturday Lotus Sutra Study

Exclusively on Zoom. Join us for our in-depth study of the Lotus Sutra, Saturday Mornings at 10am.

Movie Night & Social Events

We view and discuss Dharma-related movies or gather together at the center for social time.

Young Adult Class

This group is currently in the High School age range.

The Bloomin’ Bodhisattvas youth group has been meeting regularly. We’ve recorded eight episodes over the summer! We appreciate all the enthusiasm and support from our Dharma Center family! Podcast playlist link on YouTube
